How many students in a class?
No more than 25 children in Reception – Yr 1 and 29 children from Year 2 – 7.
How much are your school fees and how do I pay them?
St Joseph’s School Hectorville is a non - government Catholic school and therefore does not receive full government funding. The school relies on the payment of School Fees to cover all operational costs therefore allowing us to continue our delivery of excellence in primary school education.
School Fees for 2011 include Tuition Fees, ICT Levy and Diocesan Capital Levy.
When is the best time to enrol?
Early enrolment is always recommended as it can be difficult to foresee what the demand for a particular year level will be. Some areas such as PreSchool are restreicted in the numbers they can take and therefore filllup very quickly.
How do I enrol?
An application for Enrolment form can be obtained from the School Registrar and needs to be completed and returned with the $30 enrolment fee. This fee is non refundable and per student.
Are there waiting lists?
We have a certain number of students per class. Once those classes are full we then have a waiting list.
Can I come and see the School?
Yes! The St Joseph's School invites prospective parents and their children to enjoy a Tour with the Principal. There are eight tours with the Principal held throughout the year. These tours are an opportunity to observe classrooms in action and our facilities, and to talk with the Principal, Ms. Leanne Carr or a member of the leadership team about the School’s programs and offerings.
