- additional enrichment and extracurricular opportunities
Special Education
This resourcing provides support for students either in a one to one or in small groups in the classroom. These special services are offered to students with high complex needs and learning issues.
Reading Recovery
Students who are identified with ‘most at risk’ reading difficulties in their fifth term of school are supported by the Reading Recovery teacher.
The Listening Program
This program provides support for students who have auditory processing difficulties.
English as a Second Language
Support is provided to students who are from non-English speaking backgrounds in the classroom and in small groups and focuses on strategies for writing, reading and speaking.
Fun Skills
Fun Skills is a coordination program for students in Reception. It assists students who have gross motor skill difficulties.
Learning Assistance Program (LAP)
Volunteers who are on our ‘School’s Volunteer Register’ and under the guidance of the Student Learning Coordinator, work with students who have learning difficulties. Volunteers are always welcome to assist with this program.
