Our school
St Joseph’s Hectorville is a primary school in Adelaide, South Australia and has served the local community since 1863. The school comprises Early Learning, Reception to Year 6. While our Catholic vision and mission permeates the life of the school, children from all cultures and faiths are welcome.
When you step into our school, there’s an immediate feeling of warmth, comfort and confidence. At St Joseph’s Hectorville, we want to connect with our students and their families as we continually work to grow and strengthen our incredible education community.
Our focus is to ignite your child’s passion for learning, while we embrace diversity, inclusivity and creativity.
Our passionate and talented teachers are invested in developing your child’s interests and curiosity. Across all grades, our team nurtures our students on an individual level, understanding the significant contribution of social and emotional support giving them every opportunity to thrive.
We believe that when students have the support, community and resources in place that they need to learn – then incredible things can happen. This is why generations of families continue to send their children to St Joseph’s.
We also understand that the thought of enrolling your children in school for the first time can be overwhelming. This is why our team is here to walk you through this process – with a range of school tours, online information and other virtual opportunities you can engage with.
