At St Joseph's we provide opportunity for students to participate in sport activities both in class and out of hours sport.
Unique program for children aspiring to take the next step in their soccer development. As a school, we recognise the talent, enjoyment and passion our students have for the game and want to increase their contact time for continued improvement and growth as a player and person.
Physical Education Program
The Sports Program is designed to provide the fundamental movements patterns and skills required for a range of physical activity tasks and sports. The aim to provide opportunity to learn new skills and movements that will prepare and allow understanding and mastery moving into secondary learning. Not only are the key skills and fitness components developed but more importantly key values of teamwork, resilience and responsibility are acquired.
School Sports Teams
St Joseph's offers many sports teams for our 2-7 students to involve themselves in out of school hours. This includes basketball, soccer, netball and cricket. St Joseph's also has an athletics team and swimming teams which have had great success team and also takes part in the European handball and Touch Football carnivals. An Auskick program is run for R-2 students which is a huge success each year.

SACPSSA offers a wide variety of team and individual sports carnivals, students are encouraged to participate and compete in the carnivals held throughout the calendar year.
